The Insane Gaming forum was made in January 14, 2006, at 8:17pm. At that time, the forum had no name other than just being called, "Message Board" for a week. C.I.W.Y. decided to call it the CIWY Forums. For a month, the forum struggled through inactivity and lack of members. Members like Sycon, Death and few other members joined. Death was a fellow friend of CIWY and Sycon was a member who became a mod for coding help as well as other things. Death also instantly became a global mod/admin as well as Sycon becasue they were both the first few active members. The board had 10 boards and was quite active for the amount of members as well as a few skins and colors. One skin*, known as the Vaati skin was dark and had a Legend of Zelda theme to it. Soon, more members joined like BSYF. BSYF was at that time known as Elementlink00. He was the youngest member to ever join and was quite n00bish. He decided to call himself BSYF later on (And a few months later became Oblivion Knight). Another member called, Hylianlegend was one of the first female members to join the forum. She posted probobly as much as BSYF AKA Elementlink00.  At this time, its around April and Sycon and Death became very inactive. Many changes went through the forum like gradients, removing and adding gradients and HTML and Javascript coding. The forum was a light green and blue color. The forum did not have many suggestions, due to the people who weren't interested in the forum. Many people disliked forums with the name of the admins name in it, so not many gave advice to it. weeks passed.During these weeks war struck the Insane Gaming Forums (known as CIWY Forums at that time).At first, nothing too bad happened.All that happened was the infrequent posting of a guest known as Beak.One night, he began to flame CIWY.An hour later, he left and a member called Dude took his place.This was around the time when Oblivion_Knight  just became a mod (he was BSYF at the time) .He and CIWY spent their time trying to ban Dude and aim his insulting posts to himself. The  guest were from a forum on the G4TV.com forums. CIWY had joined around Fall 2005.He was new to forums and got into the habit of double posting.The mods got mad and modified his profile, as well as changing his posts, making him say idiotic things. Soon, we started to go to war with them as the GaBRP mods joined and tried to kill CIWY Forums with SPAM. Fortunately, they were not very successful and were instantly banned.Some time passed.CIWY had tried to make peace with the GaBRP.He succeeded as well as becomming a moderator. Insane Gaming was at peace again. Now, it has become June, and many members leave or become absent from vacations, summer camps etc. Happily, Death became a lot more active than usual and kept the forum alive with his crazy topics. Oblivion_Knight had left for camp for 4 weeks. But Death still posted in his stead. Sadly, as he returned the clouds of war were back in the sky. Death was one of the most well respected members of GaBRP. However, he said something about a Final Fantasy Boss 4 boss called Keftka and got banned. CIWY decided to go to war with them again because Death was the one who told him about the forums and the GaBRP mods became power-hungry and banned/messed with accounts just for the fun of it. Around late August, he changed his name to Oblivion_Knight due to the members and mods saying he stole the name from the main admin around the time of the GaBRP attack. He, Death and Oblivion_Knight went to GaBRP and spammed and tried to kill the forum.  They were partially sucessful. C.I.W.Y. deleted his profile and un-modded himself to show how much hatred he had on the forum. The 2nd war was around late July -early August which finally ended the conflict between the two forums. The mods stopped attacking the forum and left it to slowly die* of inactiveness. Peace returned. Many people were saying that they disliked the blue and green skin that was showing on the forum. Many wanted a darker skin and colors. So C.I.W.Y. decided to remove the current skin and make the Vaati skin the main skin. To keep it as CIWY Forums, not a Zelda fan forum, he changed the banner and images. Its now late August and many members have joined. Now, CIWY wanted to deal with the name. He didn't want the forum to sound like it was about him being the main admin and the forum was about himself and he thought of how the forum was. Crazy, fun and insane. It was mostly about videogames and cool websites. Then, it hit him. Insane Gaming. The idea was enjoyed by everyone and it was decided.Insane Gaming would be the new name of the forum. Guests like Dude stopped spamming and was found to also be a member of the Good and Bad RP, which was found a few months later after his spam attack. Members continued posting and Insane Gaming finally came to a rest from spam attacks and guests attacking the forum.

Skin*: A website term reffering to the colors of a website as well as the gradients, banner etc.

Die*: A term for forums which means that members stop posting. This is usually because of the lack of members and posts on a forum.
