We are awaitng a release date for the new album, and will let you know as soon as we hear anything. Also we will confirm the rumors that we are now a 5 piece band. Jon "Bon" Lohman (ex-Snobank) has joined I.D. as a second guitarist. We are excited to show what Bon has brought to the band. This is I.D. as you've never seen, or heard us before. Everyone should come out Aug. 13th to Pop's for one of the most amazing shows this summer (see shows), and let us know what you think. So much to write, so little time. Let's keep it simple. 1) The cd is almost complete. 2) New mp3's by next week. 3) I.D. opens for Dope on March30th 05 4) I.D. opens for God Forbid on April 7th 05 5) I.D. will be entering the 05' Warped Tour competition 6) Plans have begun for upcoming cd release. We love you all and we can't do this without you. Also a new show has been added, we will be opening for DOPE, yes, THE DOPE in March. 13 Days and Tryptophane are also on this bill, so you know this night will ROCK. Thanks I.D. 1-31-05 Hello again, Just a few updates. For starts, check the shows page as a new date has been added. This date is important in that it is a benefit show to help a friend of ours' family through a difficult time. Josh "Whitey", was recently in a serious car accident, and could use our support. Inimical Drive will be joining our friends from Spatik to raise some funds for this cause. Also this is a chance to catch Inimical Drive and Spatik together at Sally T's in St.Peters for the first time in well over a year. We hope to see you there. I.D. has completed the music entirely for the second album. Things are moving along as planned. With some vocals, a little cowbell, and some tunafish, we will be wrapping it up and releasing a sneak peek for all you beautiful people. Don't forget!!! Feb.5th and Feb.10th ! See you there !!!! Thanks - I.D. 1/24/05 BUENO! This is just a quick update of what's happ-nin'. Please be sure to check our shows page for info on February. Wound's cd release, and I.D. opening at Pop's as the Otep tour passes through St.Louis. We hope to see all of you at these shows. There have been questions of I.D. wavering from our melodic/metal-edged roots as we've grown closer to our new release and more experienced sound and status. We can safely say that there is no truth to us leaning in any "certain direction" for any reason other than enjoying what we are doing. It is highly advised that any doubts be brought to the table at the next shows. Inimical Drive is still Inimical Drive. Studio time is moving forward. February will draw us very close to finalizing eight solid tracks which will be posted in order with full lyrics very soon. We will keep you posted on the release as soon as we know anything. Thanks and as always we love you all. Inimical Drive 12/20/04 Hi kids ! We are still alive and kickin. We have been around but just busy writing and breaking down what will and will not appear on the album. So please check out our shows page and come hang with us as we have been and will be attending many local shows. Now it is official! Inimical Drive IS IN THE STUDIO. We began this past weekend and are making good progress. Things will remain busy through the holidays and into 2005, but we'll let you know as we get closer, any thing to keep you updated. We do know that early 2005 will bring our cd release, a mix of St.Louis shows and a small tour following. Please be patient with us, we appreciate everyone stickin' around. Thanks and we love you and your Mom, Happy Holidays - Inimical Drive 9/16/04 Inimical Drive is pleased to announce that we have completed the writing process for our upcoming album. We are confident that everyone will appreciate the time, work, and growth that shows through in the new material. We'll keep you posted on the album's progress. More exciting news! Final Drive has asked I.D. to perform at their upcoming cd release party. We are thrilled to play with Final Drive again as ourselves along with many of you have become big fans of their music. Also this will be our first time playing at Mississippi Nights and we know the show is going to be huge. We want to see everyone there, and we will be filming the show again for more dvd footage. Thanks for keeping us and the Stl. rock scene alive! We'll see you all on October 15th! 8/15/04 Inimical Drive will be participating in the Pop's End of Summer Local Music Bash. Many great bands on this bill so come and check it out. (see "shows" for more info) We will also be filming our set for footage to be used on our dvd coming soon. Keep requesting to hear "Escape From the Sun" on 105.7 the Point's local show. We seem to be getting a great response so thank you and keep it up! You should be listening to the local show and supporting the bands who work so hard to get there, but we know you are... right? Anyways thank you. We are enjoying the little break that we've had although very anxious to play on the 21st. We are writing more material and coming closer to a definite track list for the new album. Soon we will begin recording and putting together plans for the release. But for now we hope to see you all soon, and keep us up to date, we love to hear from all of you. 6/22/04 IN-FREAKING-CREDIBLE !!! We want to thank all of you so much for attending the Pageant show on the 19th. That show was amazing! We recieved a huge response from our performance and sold out all of our merch. You maniacs in the pit are INSANE and we appreciate that. So again thank you and we hope to see you all again soon. Very soon Bossman Recording Studios will be opening their doors and we will begin recording more tracks to complete our second album. We will keep you posted on our progress and hopefully won't keep you waiting too long. While I'm on the subject ANY BANDS wanting to record, please give a listen to our most recent demo cd and contact us if you like what you hear. Bossman studios is going to be a strong competitor for any studio with someone who actually knows what they're doing. I.
