General Bentinck "out of friendship in the 1800s, the
British turned Darjeeling into a hill station. Now, almost
two centuries later, The Queen of Hill Stations entices

West Bengal and start climbing up, you will begin to see the

built in the 17th century. afternoon A short walk to
Sangobhholing Monastery (02 km/45 mis) located on a hillock

morning drive through semi tropical forests, cardamom
plantation and small villages to Gangtok, once the capital
