Officer Elections

Elections for the Indiana Pepper Pod Officers will be held at the Pod Cook-off on August 18, 2007, at Bel-Aire Park in Indianapolis, IN.

The Slated Officers are:

Great Pepper - Darin Jester

Pepper Popper - Brad Garland

Chilicity/Treasurer - Tonya Jester

Secretary - Marilyn Jester

CONGRATS

5 members of the Indiana Pepper Pod traveled to St. Charles, IL to cook in the Chillini Pod CCO this past weekend.  Congratulations to Tonya Jester, she took First Place in the Salsa Class, JR Jackson took Third Place in CASI Show, and Kaleb Jester took Third Place in the Jr. Class.  There were 25 CASI chili's judged.  Weather was perfect and it made for a great weekend.  Once again Congrats to all of the winners.

Congratulations to the new Three-I Champion, Bill Thomas, the first Illinois cook to qualify this year.  Indiana also got their first qualifier in Dan Meeks, who finished second in a close tie-breaker.  Results are:

On behalf of the entire Jester family, I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the past 4 months.  Chad will be missed by all.  It is truly a blessing to call each and everyone of you "True Friends".  Please continue to keep Jenni and the kids in your thoughts and prayers.

Today is a sad day for the Pepper Pod. 

Chad passed away last night around 7pm.  He put up a long and courageous fight but the Lord needed him home. 

Please keep Jenni, Kaleb and Eden in your thoughts prayers.  As well as the entire Jester family.
