Hinduism is based on the Aryans who migrated to the Indian subcontinent about 1500 B.C.E. The people had little in common with the Harappans (another city) and lived in citties like Mohenjo Daro. Both Aryan and Harappan culturals began to learn from each other. Aryans learn framing and specializing in crafs. While Harappans learned Aryan songs about how theworld works. The songs were then collected into a book called the Vedas also known as the "Books of Knowledge". The Vedas books were the first building blocks of Hinduism and it told Hindus how to live. It also that the world is run by many god and goddnesses. there are kinds of classes in Hinduism and they are prist, Princes, Professionalsand Marchants, and servants. All these people developed into India's caste system. People who broke the rules were forced to live outside all castes and were looked down by others to be "impure". They also preformed a cleaning process for anyone who even touched the shaddow of the person who did the crime. |
