TAJ MAHAL
The Taj Mahal is the most beautiful monument build by man on the earth. Taj Mahal is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh state, north India, on the bank of Yamuna River. Taj Mahal was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is considered as the best example of Mughal architecture, a technique that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural techniques. While the white domed marble monument most familiar, Taj Mahal is an integrated complex of structures and were completed around 1648. Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is generally considered as the principal designer of Taj Mahal.
The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan planned about Taj Mahal and ordered to build Taj Mahal after the death of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal (1629). The Taj Mahal was completed between 1632 and 1638 which is set in carefully laid out grounds, it is a reflection of the gardens of Paradise to which the faithful ascend. The entire Taj Mahal complex, with gardens, gateway structures, and mosque, was completed in 1643.
