begin with the million dollar question, "How would we turn our
website into a money making machine?". Answer is, firstly, there are
a lot of solutions apply for this questions. Each and one of them, are all
imagination coming from our brain. I personally spend my time sitting by
myself just thinking at least 1 hour a day. I also believe most of you do
the same thing as I do, whether it is on purpose or whether you just find
yourself in a situation where you don't have anything to do, and decide to
just sit and do nothing. Actually, sitting down for sometime without
thinking of a specific subject, will draw you into the thinking of
everything that had happened recently, or maybe will make you come to a
realisation that you have missed out on something important. More
importantly, it can inspire you in some way, and it can open your mind
about anything creative, including business.
Some people think business is a really monotone subject with no creative element in it at all. Those people, I would say is wrong. The way I think of business, is something with creativity factor in it, of course. With no imaginative thinking, we wouldn't come up with any ideas at all on how to sell a product, which is most important in business, advertising. Let's now begin in finding out how to create the website of "top business"
The basics.The basic in any business including online business includes product research, ideas to sell, creating a website and deciding on a content. Although you have heard the saying "Don't judge a book with its cover" so many times, but really, would you buy a book with a non-promising cover? Of course, the cover itself is what makes look at the book in the first place. The same happening with websites and products. In terms of making a website, layout is important. For example, if you see a site with no background and all, and no pictures at all, completely text, would you even bother to look and examine what they have? even if the information they provide is actually the best information in the world? of course not (Although some people might). Therefore, the layout and presentation of a website has to be appealing in the first place. If you sell a product for kids enjoyment i.e. toys, you would want a website that's catchy to the eyes, bright in colours and full of funny pictures, maybe with some comic strips included. Beside the layout and the presentation, the content of a website is also important. Once your website is catchy, people would look at it, give it a shot. If suddenly they find the content to be boring, or only advertising, they would soon leave the site, as they have the control over what they're seeing on the net. It's either you make the person read on, or you lose in the game when the person browse around for other websites --> other products. Of course, product research or ideas are the basic of the content. Let's say, the main plot of a book. It is like telling people what the website is about. When you want your website to be about "Books to buy", of course you have to have most information possible on books and links onto your book store. People are expecting to find something from your website. A quick view of what's an asset when you're talking about the net. You would probably already know, that an asset in business not involving the website includes properties that generates profit, stocks and trades, business, factories, anything you have that is an asset to you and generate income to you. Just like the asset in real life, asset when talking about the internet is a site where it generates revenue into your pocket. You wouldn't want a site that's just making you pay some bucks for the month to the provider. Also, having a domain with a site that doesn't sell anything is not called having an asset. More like, having an expense in a way. The more sites you have generating revenues for you, the more asset you have over the net. Remember, assets with the network, once you have the hang of it and become professional at it, you wouldn't believe on how much income you would get.
