        Hastings is a town steeped in history, with its Norman castle, smugglers caves and its revamped Victorian pier  which are just three of this seaside town’s many attractions.

 It has an attractive seafront with many restaurants, amusement arcades, bars, hotels and guest houses and a well kept and popular beach.

       A railway lift will take you from the sea front up on to the West Hill with its panoramic views  over the old town, you can then visit the Smugglers Adventure Caves and the historic remains of Hastings Castle. The old town of Hastings has very much to offer with its busy streets and twittens. It still retains its fishing fleet with its old net houses. There is a fun fair that will thrill the children and the Fishermen’s Museum is well worth a visit. Then to relax, another railway lift will carry you up the cliff face onto the East Hill with its wonderful views, beautiful country park and glens.
