The Misfits of Science was one of those rare, unsung gems—an unappreciated classic from the 1980's. It was one of those truly magical shows that comes around so rarely, and which could have gone on to truly great things. It was clever, witty, engaging, original and utterly hysterical, and its passing is still lamented amongst its devotees. Sadly, it was scheduled against Dynasty, which crushed it in the TV ratings. The show never truly had a chance.
