Okay, stream of consciousness time, folks. Here's where I rattle off a whole bunch of stuff that I find amusing or otherwise entertaining. Some of it will be scientific, some of it will be purely aesthetic, and some of it will appear juvenile. Try to keep up, friends.
Humor and Television |
Funny stuff? Well, there's this Dr. Seuss tribute. Enjoy.
Then there's this article about the original SuperFriends TV show. It's not entertaining per se, but it is nostalgiac and insightful.
Speaking of nostalgia, there's a growing section on the old Misfits of Science show. Oh, and here's something about Debra Winger as Wonder Girl. It was a humble but auspicious beginning for her.
Beauty, eh? |
When it comes to romance, I find the inner beauty of a woman to be infinitely more attractive than her outer shell. Having said that, I can still appreciate various lovely ladies. Never let it be said that I won't notice a beautiful woman.
For example, I'm of the opinion that Courteney Cox is one of the most stunningly beautiful women that ever graced this earth. She has lost some of her appeal in recent years, but she was positively ravishing in her younger days, and she's still outstandingly beautiful today.
Jennifer Dempster is a beautiful fitness babe. Kiana Tom gets so much attention, but I find Jennifer to be much more appealing. Jennifer isn't a world-class beauty—certainly not in Courteney's league—--but she's still quite stunning.
Fabulous supermodelStacey Williams is another example of perfection on earth. She is just absolutely, painfully beautiful to look at.
Melinda Culea is a greatly underrated beauty. Or at least, she was during her days on the A-Team.
Then there's Tool Time girl Debbe Dunning. She didn't have the best face, but with the right smile and hair style, she was positively stunning. Oh, and she had an absolutely perfect figure—though in my book, that's not as important.
Science Time |
Time to get geeky. First, here's a little discussion of Immunology in the original Star Trek.
Now, how about this ELISPOT animation? (Hey, I liked it!) And here's some discussion of ELISPOT spot formation.
Here are miscellaneous science book and video reviews
Now, back home.
