These types of plates are sometimes used in ELISPOT assays as well. They have the advantage of being much cheaper than other plates which are commonly used in ELISPOT assays. However, since these ELISA plates are made of solid plastic and do not employ porous membranes, the antibodies do not bind as solidly to the well surfaces. |
