Well, the immune system is a combination of tissues, cells, and molecules that work togeather to fight and destroy enemys to the body such as diseases that cause viruses and bacteria. The immune system, is made up of special cells, proteins, tissues, and organs. It defends people against germs. The immune system does a great job of keeping people healthy and preventing infections most of the time. Although sometimes problems with the immune system can cause illness and infection.
We need a immune system because it helps us not get sick when everytime we have contact with any virus that can cause illness. When any living thing dies the immune system as everything else will stop working and that is why everything starts eating your body. You don't have the immune system working any more the immune system is what lives all thoses organisms away.
