ImageMax is a full-featured Image Processor that eliminates the
need to purchase and learn how to use many separate single-purpose
applications. ImageMax integrates specialized editors that rival

The
Image Editor has all the necessary tools for image creation,
capture, enhancement, and edition. Some of its features are: TWAIN
scanners and digital cameras support, support for camera enabled
mobile devices, unlimited number of undo/redo operations, advanced
painting and drawing operations, photographic enhancement functions,
advanced filters, custom filters, etc. This includes an advanced
and highely customizable image reconstructer and advanced cleanup
filters (including redeye removal and despeckler).
The Image File Browser / Image Slide Show is
similar to using a real photo album. Image files are quickly decoded
and incrementally displayed. The Image File Browser may be used,
in addition to any Windows Explorer windows, to select and read
groups of image files into the Image Editor or into ImageMax's
Multiple Open documents. It allows for albums to be easily added
thus allowing groups of images to be imported with ease (TWAIN,
PhotoCD and camera enabled mobile devices supported).
It allows quick searching of large volumes of images with fast
thumbnail generation with ability to add keywords to any image.
It also provides a Full Screen interface, for manned slide show
presentations, and also lncludes over 30 different professional
transitation effects.
The Image Morpher is used to create a morph between
two pictures and output a sequence of pictures or a movie file.
This allows you to create entertaining short animations to be
sent via MMS or
be used for web animation, etc. A powerful application in its
own right.
The Flash Convertor allows you to convert flash
animations into .AVI files for use on video enabled mobile devices
(MP4). It is also possible to output the animation to animated
GIF for sending via MMS. This has support for all installed video
codecs and ability to extract single frames from an animation
if desiried.
The Web Gallery Builder is the fastest, easiest,
most configurable way to automate the process of exhibiting pictures
on the Web. With the Web Gallery Builder, you can automatically
create the complete site, with an index page, and individual photo
pages. All that needs to be done is select the image files and
destination folder. The factory default settings produce a high
quality web gallery.
Its possible to use different auto generation profiles so that
a mobile optimized websites arecreated automatically and images
are more smaller in size.

Who is it for?
This
truelly depends on your own individual needs and requiriments.
The main focus of the application is to add life to your photos
by doing this quickly and with minimum effort.
Ask yourself these questions, do you want to quickly upload optimized
images to the web? want to quickly touchup that old family photo?
or just want to print out two 4x6 photos using your printer without
dealing with resizing and sizes? ImageMax is the answer.
ImageMax is suited to someone who doesent want spend a large amount
of cash on Adobe Photoshop or similar packages but still wants
flexability and high end results.
How
will the shareware version be limited?
I
dont agree with bloated shareware products nor 'nag' screens.
As this product is still work in progress i have not set a final
registration price. The estimated selling price will be 10.00
Sterling Pounds. The shareware version will be limited in its
ability to save to certain image formats.
Why
give so much for such a low price?
From
the start i aimed to create a professional and optimized image
editor that would suite anyone. I dont believe in putting a high
price range on such a product helps me nor the user.
Will
other mobile devices be supported?
At
present Sony Ericisson mobile devices are supported (P800, etc).
I am looking into supporting nokia devices.
Why
no interface screenshots available?
Put
simply, its work in progress and constantly changing to adapt
to new features i add.
When
will it be released?
No
release date has been set, but within the next few months beta
testing will begin.

Examples
The photo used is S Club Singer, Tina Barrett. The image provided
a clean white background which would show the filters well and
any colour modifications. The image was downloaded from the internet
and modified using ImageMax, at no stage was Adobe Photoshop or
any external program used.
The below filters are a small handful of what the program is capable
of, these dont for example show the powerful crop and reconstruction
capabilites of the program nor the rich toolset.
