The Designer,

Our head designer, Jamali Jack, is a former video/graphic artist at St.Vincent’s leading video production company, Island Koncepts Inc. and advertising agency, Space Agency. Since leaving after 6 years to work freelance, Jamali has continued to gain extensive experience in design and media. From April 2004 to February 2006, he was instrumental in the implementation of the official webportal of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as a graphic designer at the Ministry of Telecommunications, Science, Technology and Industry.

Throughout the years, Jamali has developed professional associations spanning the globe in Canada, Jamaica, St. Kitts, St.Vincent and the Grenadines, Taiwan, Trinidad and United States. His skills have been used by key players in international companies such as Albert Nerenberg (Trailervision) and Nigel Oakes (Strategic Communication Laboratories). With skills ranging from photography to programming, Jamali merges technical and creative expertise to offer engaging and personalized visual imagery. Before digital design, much of his earlier years were spent mastering oils, pastels, charcoal and other traditional media. He has a very creative, artistic sense coupled with modern thinking.

On the personal side, Jamali is married and cares deeply for his family. Two of his other passions are bible study and basketball. Since being baptised into Christ in July 1993 he has been a Christian for more than half his life. In 1995, he became actively involved in basketball and was a member of St.Vincent's 2001 undefeated national championship team, Heatwave. He also played for both his department and university basketball teams during a one year semester in Advertising and Multimedia at National Chengchi University (NCCU). A self-proclaimed “Mac addict”, Jamali has over a year of studying Mandarin in Taiwan and is currently pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Ming Chuan University.
