The Mermaid's Tale is located in the port city of Doria, a stones throw from the shipping docks, in the business district.  Hours of operation shall be every other Thursday, beginning at 8 of the eastern bells until 11 of the easter bells. (8pm - 11pm est)

 

The Mermaid's Tale is a bard's dream come true.  Opened not long after The Bard and Swan Inn (make this a link back to the Inn page), the Mermaid was designed to encourage and promote bardic talent.  A raised dias provides a platform for story tellers, singers, and performers to share their talents.  Once per month, there is a friendly competition to be held, with a prize purse determined by the number of participants that register and pay a small entry fee.

 

Tables and chairs have been scattered through out the room.  The bar stands along the wall opposite the door, to allow the tender to greet those entering.  We offer affordable ales, wines, lagers, brandy and whiskey.  Fish & Chips are available, as well as Vanessa's famous meat pies for your dinning pleasure.

There is a dart board, and two billard tables available.  Dart tournaments are held with the prize purse determined by the number of participants that register and pay a small entry fee.  (I'm trying to work out the details of a billiard game and tournament)

 

Ten guest rooms are available on the second floor for 10 qc's.  Bathing rooms are located at the east end of the floor and a common privies are located at the west.  Rooms include 1 full sized bed, linens and a blanket.  Stabling of your horse is available at the livery for 1qc per night.  (A bill will be sent to you and your house treasurer)
