The Bard & Swan Inn

Owned and Operated by the Duchy of Doria

Site under Construction

Thank you for your patience

(Pictures coming soon!)

The Bard & Swan Inn is owned and operated by the Duchy of Doria.  Located in the capital city, Doria, not far from the Dorian Markets.  Hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday, from 8 of the eastern bells until 11 of the the eastern bells (8pm - 11pm est), but may be opened by any citizen of Doria at other times as well.

The Inn features a large tavern and common room, designed and decorated for warmth, welcome and fellowship.  The decor reflects the Elven heritage of the Duke and Duchess of Doria.  Earth tones of deep greens, blues, and browns offers the illusion of spending time in the peace and tranquility of an Elven Grove.  In fact, if the Duke and his magical lute are present, it is very possible that the illusion will seem very real.

Small tables, for a romantic meal, friendly game of cards or just visiting with friends have been scattered throughout the room.  Overstuffed, oversized chairs, can be found as well, great for reading, enjoying a cup of herbal tea, or cuddling with someone you love, can be found and we encourage you to drag them, if you can, to any place you will be most comfortable.  Lighting here is provided by a large wrought iron chandelier overhead, designed and crafted by the Artisians of Doria.  Hand dipped, candles, enchanted by a local mage so not to drip on your head or fill the room with smoke, line the chandelier and have been placed on each table.

The marble bar was hand carved by Dwarven friends of Duke Chance Jastri.  The wine racks, glass racks, spirit shelves and oak bar top were all hand hewn, built and gifted to the Inn by Duchess Vanessa Jastri's family, in honor of her new home.  We offer a wide variety of ales, wines, lagers and other spirits.  Just because it is not visible, does not mean it is not available.
