Iles of Doria

Black Swan Stables, a dream seen to life by Vanessa Jastri, is located on the Island of Aphrodite's Light and features some of the most beautiful and well bred racing equites and non-equites to be seen.

The horses, mostly black Friesians, are a trademark for the stables. Each horse was selected by the Duchess' own hand for grace, beauty and speed. While there are other horses that run from the stables, it is the Black Beauties that inspired the opening of the stables.

Non-Equine Racers include unicorns and giant black swans.

Each of the unicorns were selected by the Little Princess, Voronda Silverhand, and given the opportunity to come and live on the sacred grounds of Aphrodite's Light. No unicorn is ever taken by force into the stables.

Their Graces, a pair of mated black swans round out the list of non-equine races. His Grace and Her Graces were raised from cygnets in the Lands of Telarus, while Vanessa was a resident of that kingdom. Her home on Swan Haven afforded her the opportunity to watch these magnificent creatures work and play together. When fate stepped in, and offered the Lady a new "Chance" at life, this pair of swan, a symbol of love and devotion were given to her to take to her new home on Tymora's Kiss.

The stables will offer stud services for those interested in Friesians and Unicorns. Cygnets will be available in the early spring.
