A great collective exhibition at Il-Bottegin ta’ San Martin

‘Il-Bottegin ta’ San Martin’  celebrates its second anniversary with a great collective art exhibition held in a newly restored five storey building at 188, Old Bakery street, Valletta.  The house is a great space, an old office block brimming with Maltese traditional features, providing an excellent setting for this occasion.

Guests on the opening night where left in awe by the varied styles, themes and expressions of the pieces exhibited, illustrating works of as many as 11 different participants, with a balance of well-affirmed and budding artistic talents. The names include Martin Bezzina Wettinger, Lino Borg, Nadine Debattista, Gilbert Fenech, Keneth Grima, Stephen Grima, Winston Hassell, Matthew Kassar, Salvatore Montanucci, Paul Vella, and Robert Zahra.  The contemporary works are complemented by a selection of antique prints and furniture.

The setting and the exhibition embellish and enrich our capital city.

All are welcome to visit and experience the effect of the amazing talent that is present and active on our islands. The exhibition will be open Mondays to Fridays (10:00-14:00 and 16:30-19:15) and Saturdays (10:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00) up to Saturday 12th July 2008.
