Favourite Animal and why: I'm totally DIZZY about giraffes. I do love Horses too, but I mean, come on. Giraffes are the smex.

Favourite Character: S'got to be Yomi. Always has been, always will. But I love all my babies very much. If it was down to who I draw the most, it would be Hellhound ^__^ Other than those two... Kaze or Mikan would be next. There both tragic, pretty characters. Mikan's got the spunkiness and Kaze's got the bite. They's my biznatches XD

Why do Ikkakujuu?: I love fantasy. I especially love unicorns. I also love Bishounen. And shounen ai. Well, those are good enough reasons, me thinks. Ikkakujuu was originally a random thing, part of a bigger comic called Neo Generation Chronicles which is on a permanent hiatus. Back then it was ‘Kawaii shounen no ikkakujuu’, and Yomi (who looked like Ryuuichi), Ryuuichi (who looked like an angrier version of Caspa) and Casper (who looked like a younger, littler Yomi) fought crime and such and ponced around. It wasn't meant to go any further, but then I started on the characters designed for plushies and such for NGC, and ideas started flooding my head. Those ideas never stopped.

Favourite aspect of the comic: The inter-relationships between the characters. They are sooo fun to work out! Yomi loves Yuuichi who loves Yomi who likes Ryuuichi who hates Yuuichi but is loved by Emeria who loves Hellhound and they both hate Blackberry who loves Caspa who loves himself and Ryuuichi but is loved by Yuki and by Looby who also loves Blackberry who likes Yomi who is scared of Hellhound who hates Kirin who loves Hellhound. Err… and that’s just the simplified version ^^;

What inspires you?: Incense, music and fantasy manga/books/films. If I’m drawing Ikkakujuu, or concept art or writing scripts for it, I’m listening to love songs, or upbeat tracks or ballads. I also listen to J-Pop music or anime soundtracks from Inuyasha, DNAngel and Escaflowne the Movie.  I listen to HP sountracks for Ikka, too! I also now like soundtracks for films like 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and 'Narnia'. A big inspirer for Ikka is ‘The Last Unicorn’ theme tune. I mean, come on!

Ideas/Plans for the future: I’d like to finish Ikka! I’d also like to be an author and manga artist, ideally… and be uber rich… Muahaahahaaaa

Why do Ikkakujuu?: It’s a good story. IT DESERVES TO BE PULISHED!!!... and I like a challenge XD
