Sesshomaru sniffed the air. He could smell the trail of his hanyou brother, Inuyasha.
Sesshomaru stayed up wind to avoid the detection of Inuyasha.
“I must kill him” he thought to himself. “I must”.
With Rin safe with Jaken in the western plains he didn’t have to stop for her needs.
He remembered what happened when he told Rin he would be going away for a long while.

“Please don’t go Sesshomaru. Stay with Rin, or at least let Rin come with you”
“No Rin, you must stay here with Jaken, where I’m going is dangerous, okay?”
“ohhh..okay.” Rin said with disappointment written all over her face.
Sesshomaru turned to jaken “And, Jaken…"
“y-Yes lord Sesshomaru?”
“If I come back and Rin has a scratch on her, I will kill you”
With that he started on the trail with the sound of Rin’s goodbye’s getting lower and lower.

A rustle of leaves got him out of his memory. Suddenly a huge snake bit him on the arm. Sesshomaru tore it’s head off immediately and threw it in the bushes. Unfortunately the snake was a sleeper snake. A snake that puts its victims to sleep then eats them alive. Luckily Sesshomaru killed it.
Sesshomaru eyes started to blur and he fell to the ground.

He got up and seen Inuyasha standing in a field, in the distance alone. It was raining and frequent lightning struck the ground. Everytime there was lighting there was a blinding flash.
“INUYASHA” Sesshomaru yelled.
Inuyasha slowly turned, almost casually, to him still very far away.
*Flash of light and the sound of thunder
Inuyasha was in Sesshomaru’s face graping his neck. Digging his claws in to it. Sesshomaru would have struck him down right there. He tried but he couldn’t move.
“Tag” Inuyasha said.
“what!” Sesshomaru said dumbfounded
“Tag! Your It!”
Flash of light and the sound of thunder
It was now a child version of Inuyasha, no longer grapping his neck. Sesshomaru looked around. He was in a village. No longer a rainy night, but a sunny day. However there was no one there. Suddenly Sesshomaru could move. He struck at the child in front of him. Little Inuyasha moved out of the way.
“Can’t catch me!” Little Inuyasha said, turning and running away.
“Coward! You can’t escape” Sesshomaru said.
He quickly caught up with Inuyasha and shoved him to the ground then drew his sword.
Little Inuyasha turned over with scraps on his face and tears in his eyes.
“Why did you push me down? It’s just a game!”
Sesshomaru drew the sword behind his head.
“What are you doing Sesshomaru. You don’t want to hurt me do you?” Little Inuyasha said with fear in his eyes.
Then Sesshomaru swung. Little Inuyasha quickly jumped out of the way. Still facing Sesshomaru, Little Inuyasha backed up to the wall of a house.
“Die” Sesshomaru said.
“No, No Sessomaru don’t!” Little Inuyasha cried.
Sesshomaru swung over his head at Inuyasha.
“BROTHER NO!!!”
The word brother hit him like a ton of bricks. He stopped in mid swing. Many things went threw his head. Sesshomaru dropped his sword. He started thinking, “look at him. My little brother, Inuyasha. How could I hurt him? He’s so full of fear.”
He put his hand on little Inuyasha shoulder. Then he said something he thought he’d never say. “I’m sorry…….Brother”.

At that time he got out of his poison induced sleep.
Sesshomaru got up, dusted himself off, shook his head, and said “my brother”. With that he turned around and started to the western plains.
