..// Cursed Arrows: An Inu-Yasha Shrine

Ah, how green you are my...er, green friends. Inu-Yasha is (or what critics say at least) is a "romantic comedy". But I must tell, there's not much romance at first...and throughout the show. It's mostly comedy, but yes, it does throw in some romantic stuff, which is ok. I haven't finished the entire series yet, so I don't know how it's going to get.

What's The Story Line? **SPOILERS**
*ahem* Inu-Yasha is about a Jr. High Girl named Kagome, who falls into the Bone Eater's Well and mysteriously went back in time to Ancient Japan. She is able to go back into her own time, just by going back into the well, but this also means others from Ancient Japan (like demons) can go into her time too. However, this is the feudal age of Japan. (Hence the name: Inu-Yasha; A Feudal Fairy Tale.) She meets Inu-Yasha, who died 50 years ago and well, she woke him up. (He was tied to a tree and had an arrow in his chest...when she pulled it out she "broke the spell" and Inu-Yasha is alive...spooky, ^^;;) Anyway, Kagome finds inside her body is the Shikon Jewel, or "The Jewel of Four Souls". It gives demons and humans more power if the possess it, and the first demon who tries to take it in the show was a centipede thing. (It's actually better than it sounds, trust me.) The second is a crow-demon, and Kagome accidentally shattered the Jewel into tiny pieces when shooting an arrow at it. And well, demons and humans can still become powerful even with a Shikon Jewel Shard (piece). It is then Kagome and Inu-Yasha's job to get the pieces back before Neraku does.?

Kagome is said to be the reincarnation of a deceased Priestess named Kikyo. Before Inu-Yasha "died", he had fallen in love with Kikyo, and Kikyo felt the same for him. However, she took the job of protecting the Shikon Jewel which has the power to make a good person evil if they use it. Well, Kikyo probably would have never become evil; she could handle the power of the Shikon Jewel, and didn't use it. But then Naraku ruins everything >.< (Well, actually, if he hadn't done what he did there would be no need for Kagome, and then we wouldn't have the Inu-Yasha show...so...go Naraku...I guess.) Anyway, he made Inu-Yasha and Kikyo hate each other, and they betrayed one another. Kikyo used the last of her life to shoot an arrow at Inu-Yasha, pinning him to a tree. She cast a spell on him so that he could not wake up unless someone took out the arrow in his chest. Then Kagome comes along and pulls the arrow out. *sigh* Inu-Yasha is NOT Kagome's 'best friend' at first, he tries to kill her. But, thanks to Kaede, Kikyo's sister, she changed that. Kaede put a beaded necklace around Inu-Yasha's neck, and he cannot take it off. With this necklace, Kagome has the power to control and "tame" (if you will) Inu-Yasha with one word, "sit". ^^ It's actually quite funny to watch...
