This year we're trying another new idea.....
Everybody's hurting in these tough economic times, so this summer, instead of a dinner & casino, we're saving you some money and hosting a dance.
And we're inviting a few of our friends from other universes, too...
It's An
Alien Gaslight Shindig!
A What, you say?
It's a Masquerade Dance.
Dress up as your favorite Star Trek, Firefly or Industrial Age Science Fiction (Steampunk) character and come party with us.
If you don't have a costume, that's OK too. Just come kick off the convention with us on Shore Leave Friday.
There will be finger food, great music with our DJ, a cash bar, and (in our finest Klingon tradition) a raffle of sharp pointy things and other shiny new weapons!
When: Friday, July 10, 2009 at 7:30pm.
Where: Frankie & Vinnie's - across from the main ballrooms (the Hunt & Valley rooms).
How Much: $10 per person preregistered in advance.
You must also purchase a membership to Shore Leave to attend. A limited number of Shindig tickets will be available at the door for $15 cash per person.
Don't forget, it's a cash bar, and there's a raffle, so be sure to bring your wallet so you can stay refershed and have a chance to bring home a shiny new addition to your wall or your outfit!
How Do I Register?
Preregistration is closed.
Deadline for preregistration was 15 June 2009.
No refunds will be given after 15 June 2009.
