“Together, forever no matter how long,
From now, until the end of time.
We'll be together and you can be sure,
That forever and a day,
That's how long we'll stay,
Together and forever more.

Always gone that extra mile,
Depended on you all the while.
Even in the good and bad times,
You will see…
From now until our journey's end,
You know that you can always count on me.”

The April Boys

Caleb Thorburn aka Cal – www.thecalebthorburnfoundation.com.au

Caleb was a young, happy and bright boy. He lived across the road from me and could always make me smile. His life came to an end after the scariest 17 hours I’ll ever experience. With a small tear running down his face, Cal farewelled us all and now watches over us.

Caleb, October 7th 2000 – April 6th 2002

Mac Kitching aka Macabee
Mac was my first pet. A German shepherd dog whose boundless energy kept him going for 11 long years. Sadly Mac had a seizure and suffered from brain damage which lead to sight damage and loss of his hearing. No one can replace Mac, he was our morning wake up alarm and his howling was what sent us to sleep. I’ll miss you Mac, forever and always.

Mac, May 13th 1997 – April 18th 2008

Walter Kitching aka Wal
Wal became my grandpa’s best friend the instant they met in their ‘old folk’s home’. He had no family left to look after him and was struggling for money. We took him in like a second grandpa. He came along to family functions and would cry every Christmas when we gave him gifts. He was a simple but funny guy, always humming while not realising. Tragically Wal was a victim of cancer which spread through his blood. We all miss you Wal, keep humming…
