After a very successful 2005 season, the PVFSC Ice Crystals and BCAFSC Edge Forte Junior Synchronized Skating teams have joined forces for 2006 to culminate in a strong, united team:

VELOCITY

Both teams found success in their previous seasons, competing and medalling at both NSW State Championships and Australian National Championships. The end of 2005 saw changes to both rosters, and the decision was made to amalgamate the teams for the 2006 season.

Training commenced at the end of 2005 under the coaching of Linda Aubrecht and Sharyn Renshaw. Training takes place at both Blacktown and Penrith.

3rd place
at the 2005 Australian Figure Skating Championships

The Ice Crystals are proud to announce their third place finish at the National Championships in Perth on the 20th & 21st of August 2005.
After a disappointing 6th place finish in the short program, the Ice Crystals rose to the occasion and jumped three places to earn the bronze medal.
The Ice Crystals would like to thank our coach, Sharyn Renshaw, our managers, Louise and Bev, and the countless other people who have helped us on our exciting journey this year. We could not have done this without you all. Special thanks goes to Paul and all of our sponsors who generously helped us so that we could make this dream become a reality. We did it!!

Next Tuesday 30th August, the Ice Crystals will be performing a special "Thankyou" skate and exhibition to say thank you to all of our supporters. Everyone is welcome to attend. Penrith Ice Palace, 7.30pm-8.30pm, supper will be provided.

2005 NSW State Champions

For the second year running, the Ice Crystals displayed a wonderful peformance at the NSW State Championships, taking home the gold medal.

We are now steadily working towards National Championships in Perth where we hope to continue our success.
