Beginning in September, ICAN of the Hudson Valley will meet in Catskill every other month. By holding meetings in two separate locations, we hope to be able to provide a convenient option for women throughout the area. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Welcome to the Hudson Valley Chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network
The International
Cesarean Awareness Network, Inc. (ICAN), is a nonprofit organization
whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing
unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean
recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).
ICAN of the Hudson Valley is here to provide a safe and supportive
place to discuss birth options, help families make informed decisions
about birth, provide support to women who have undergone a cesarean or
who are planning a cesarean, and to help women connect with others who
have had a cesarean.
Our meetings take place on the third Thursday of the month at alternating locations.
