Supporting Subscription

Normal birth is being threatened for us and our daughters. Help us by subscribing to the Clarion! ICAN has always consisted of people just like you. The Clarion is an excellent source of up-to-date information and support.

In addition to receiving the newsletter, you will be supporting an all-volunteer international organization, which educates families in need of birth, cesarean and VBAC information. We also reach interested professionals and groups with similar goals for birth and health. ICAN is the voice to end the practice of unnecessary cesareans worldwide.

Women and families in need contact the ICAN office daily, looking for answers, looking for help. Your tax deductible donation helps ICAN distribute information to those in need.

For about $2.50 a month, you can help an international organization provide support to those in need. Please add ICAN to your list of tax-deductible annual contributions. ICAN exists solely by the support of numerous private citizens who recognize the need for an organization like ours.

Professional Subscription

ICAN's Professional Referral Network is a resource not only for consumers, but for birth professionals such as yourself. The ICAN website gets between 4,000 - 5,000 hits per month. We rank high in browser searches for "cesarean" as well as "VBAC." Many of our initial contacts from women are when women seek "VBAC friendly" birth professionals. We hope to use our professional subscriber program as a way to connect women to birth professionals in their area that support ICAN's mission.

ICAN's Professional Referral Network web page features a clickable map of the United States and Canada where web surfers can click to find birth professionals in their area. It also links to our searchable chapter web page as well. If someone is looking for a chapter, her results page will link to the birth professionals in her area that are signed up as professional subscribers. Not only are ICAN Professional Subscribers listed on the main ICAN website- we also have a page for our chapter's Professional Subscribers on our local website.
