ICAN's Professional Referral Network web page features a clickable map of the United States and Canada where web surfers can click to find birth professionals in their area. It also links to our searchable chapter web page as well. If someone is looking for a chapter, her results page will link to the birth professionals in her area that are signed up as professional subscribers.

 * Provided Cesarean & VBAC support to roughly 75 women through monthly meetings and phone consultation. Our VBAC rate is 85% which is the expected rate when women are given sincere VBAC support.

* Helped countless cesarean moms find a supportive OB or midwife to attend their births and educated them about the different options offered in birth

* Exhibited at various state/local health and baby expos 

* Provided an updated and evidence-based website 

* Moderated an online discussion group ICANBirth@yahoogroups.com   

* Published a quarterly newsletter, Very Beautiful AndCourageous 

* Celebrated Cesarean Awareness Month each April and taken our talks to area prenatal yoga & childbirth education classes 

* Sponsored workshops with Nicette Jukelevics a nationally known author and educator, on optimizing your chances to have a VBAC. She hosts the website www.vbac.com 

* Co-sponsored and organized rallies with local & state childbirth organizations to bring attention to the high cesarean rates and increased need for midwifery services
