We are looking forward to watching these guys grow up. These babies will be ready in Mid July so get those pre-orders in soon.

The Spring show season is coming to a close. Our rabbits have been doing very well.  We have won 7 Best of Breeds and 9 Opposite Sex of Breeds this year. Our Rabbitry is expanding! We have added Standard Chins, Netherland Dwarfs (Himalayan and  Sable), and 1 Awesome Flemish Giant named Claus! The main reason for this expansion is to develop a variety of breeds for our educational program. We have given presentations at Pre-Schools, Elementary Schools, Assisted Living Centers, Birthday Parties and other charity events. We are very excited to bring the love for our rabbits out to the community. If you know of an event that would like to have us participate please contact us.

Upcoming Shows:

Taylorsville, North Carolina July 19th Night Show Show starts at 7pm

How Musical Bunnies Got Started

I was not sure that I even wanted to raise rabbits.   I got a little Mini Rex that stole my heart, and my husband found his Buddy a Broken Blue Mini Lop.  My Husband and I went to many rabbit shows before we decided to breed and show Mini Lops.  We met Linda from Dreamcatchers Rabbitry and she was kind enough to let us buy two gorgeous does from her at the show.  After we had our first litter I was hooked.  We have been breeding for about a three years now.  We have had sixteen great litters so far, but have decided to do some very selective breeding for the fall.  I have a minor in biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, so the study of genetics has interested me for many years.  I am trying to approach our current breeding program with not only a love for the animals, but the desire to bring out the best genetic traits in both body type, fur quality, and color.  We are now concentrating on improving the type of our rabbits, improving on the show quality, while keeping the temperment of our sweet girls and boys.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

Jessica, one of our best show rabbits just had 5 babies.  This is a copy of our breeding from almost a year ago.  Please look for pictures in a few weeks.  Mini Lop, Netherland Dwarf, and new Standard Chin. babies.  They arrived on bwtween late April til the end of May. Do you want to be competitive at Nationals? Contact us if you are interested.
