Washington Parish Paranormal Society

We are a non-profit group that investigates the paranormal in southeast Louisiana of Washington Parish. We mostly investigate cemetaries. We have done a few residences in the past with some success. We have been around for about a year now researching orbs, vortexes, energy lights, apparisions, ghostly voices and other ghostly activity. We have had very good success while investigating local cemetaries. We have a few little gadgets that help in our quest like emf meters, digital cameras, camcorder with infra-red lights, infra-red therometers and voice recorders. Also on this site, we will provide you with alot of information about the paranormal. We will have information on types of haunts, types of equipment you need, definitions that we use in the field of the paranormal and much, much more. 

Here at the Washington Parish Paranormal Society, we approach each investigation as professionals and we are scientific. We do not use tools such as ouija boards, black magic, spells, or any other items that are associated with those. Now we do not look down on witches or mediums, we do not use those methods ourselves in our investigations. We feel that science is that way to go about capturing spirits on video, evps, or pictures.
