The images below are my photos of the Knights Templar chapel in Rothley, Leicestershire.
The chapel was built by the Templars in 1231 after being granted the land by Henry III and is the only known Templar preceptory in Leicestershire.
The chapel was highly profitable with many of the proceeds going directly to the holy land to aid the Christian cause.
