Update - This Morning, Blue Murder and Chicago
If you missed Ian on This Morning today (9 Dec) you can watch the interview on the This Morning website - just click http://www.itv.com/lifestyle/thismorning/showbiz/iankelsey/
He talks briefly about his role on The Bill, his family and also confirms that Blue Murder has been axed. He has extended his role in Chicago, however, until the end of February. I can highly recommend the show.
Ian is still working with Caroline Quentin, they are writing a new comedy, a spoof detective series, in which his character is called Dick.

DVD Releases - Blue Murder and Down to Earth
Series 5 of Blue Murder is being released on DVD on 29 June 2009. However, as the series has yet to be shown on TV this date is subject to change. It looks like they are finally going to start releasing Down to Earth on DVD (long overdue!). The first one, a double disc, is listed for release on 1 June 2009 on Play.com and Ian is mentioned in the credits even though he didn't appear until the third series so we'll have to see what episodes it contains nearer the time.

Chicago
Ian again took on the part of Billy Flynn in the tour of Chicago having previously played the role in the West End. He was in Blackpool from 28 August to 8 September 2007, followed by Torquay from 2 October to 13 October 2007, Southend-on-Sea from 15 to 20 October 2007 and Bournemouth 22 October - 3 November 2007.
Please note Chicago is touring around other venues but as far as I'm aware Ian was only taking part in the shows named above and has now finished his stint. If it is coming to a theatre near you it may be worth checking with the Box Office whether Ian is part of the cast just in case.
22 August 2007
Ian was on The Antony Cotton Show where he confirmed that he would again be playing Billy Flynn, this time in the national tour of Chicago, starting with Blackpool Opera House. He has finished filming the latest series of Blue Murder which is due to be shown shortly.
