Many thanks for your kind contribution to War Child Canada’s work and your commitment to continue fundraising for us throughout this year. Without the support of organizations such as yours, our vital work with war-affected children will not be possible. I am delighted to be able to report that over 90 cents of every dollar donated is spent directly on programs in the field.

We are thrilled that you consider that our philosophy is in sync with Mr. Manilow’s. His humanitarianism is well known to us and we are delighted to have a connection with him through his fans. As he himself once sang, “we share the greatest gift we’ll ever know, our gift of love.”

Dear Dale Allayne Pelletier,
 
I would like to thank the Barry Manilow Fan Club for your contribution to War Child Canada.  We are honoured and grateful that you donated your time and effort to War Child Canada's cause and that you raised funds to provide urgently needed humanitarian assistance to children affected by war.
 
The fundraiser organized by the Barry Manilow Fan Club makes it possible for us to continue offering long-term humanitarian assistance and support to war-affected children and their families in eleven conflict and post-conflict countries around the world.
 
Approximately 90% of all casualties in armed conflict are civilians, and more than half of these are children.  War Child Canada is committed to working closely with local communities to help minimize the devastating effect conflict has on children. Based on our latest audited financial statement, administrative costs account for less than 10% of our expenditures.  In other words, your money is going directly to help those who need it most.
