A stereotypical Southerner, Frank often employs a brute-force method of detection, but has mellowed over time with the influence of Caine and his team.

Frank was a suspect in the murder of 'bait girl' Cindy Castillo. Frank's wife had hired the company to test her husband's loyalty, and although Frank never strayed it left his latent print on the victim's room key, and provided Delko with a tricky situation, admit he was investigating Frank as a suspect in the case or protect his friend and hide his investigation from the rest of the team?

Married to Horatio's brother Raymond Caine, Yelina was distraught when she found out that Ray had been killed in the line of duty. She sought solace in the company of the only person she knew who was as affected by Raymond's death as she was, her brother in law, Horatio. Over time the pair realised that their feelings for each other went much deeper than just friends, although both were too scared to find out what would happen if they allowed their relationship to develop further.

Believing that Horatio had a daughter, called Madison, Yelina launched herself into a relationship with IAB Agent Rick Stetler, which ended abruptly when Stetler gave her a black eye and she promptly kicked him out! Yelina was shocked to find out that the little girl she thought was Horatio's daughter was actually Raymond's daughter, from an affair with a tweaker girl called Suzie, who Ray met while he was undercover.

The last time we saw Yelina she was boarding a plane bound for Brazil, with her son and, recently returned from the dead, husband. But with the team heading to Rio for the season 5 opening episode Yelina will surely re-appear in the not too distant future.
