CSI Eric Delko
Played by Adam Rodriguez
Eric's father Pavel Delektorsky took the chance of smuggling his family from Cuba to Miami when he discovered that his wife was pregnant with a son. He changed the family name to Delko, and gave his new son an American name to fit into their new society.
Eric graduated with a science degree from Miami University and joined the MDPD's underwater recovery department, where he quickly rose to become one of the elite officers. A chance encounter with Horatio Caine brought an offer of a place on Caine's elite team, where Delko's underwater specialty has often come in handy.
With a temper that is quick to rise Delko is intensly proud of his Cuban roots and will defend his community against anything. Delko works hard and parties hard leaving a string of ex-girlfriends around Miami.
