RC car heaven, simsville and the block racing

updates on the simsville racing and the block

The Drivers

The Drivers that I currently drive against are too few.  However, we have been to no proper race meetings at either of the three tracks, so more talent might emerge.

MARCUS JOHNSON

Marcus is a very good tuner of his car.  Marcus lives in Sprent and is the owner of the Paddock race track.  He is also a resonable driver.  Marcus drives a Hyper 7 around the three circuits, though has owned heaps of on-road cars beforehand.

Car: Hyper 7 (barely modified, Highly Tuned).

Lives: Sprent

Track:  The Paddock (link to Track Profiles) > http://www.freewebs.com/hyper7/trackprofiles.htm

Specifications:  Reasonable driver, though can tune a car very well, knows all about changing stuff to make it go better.

WAYLON SIMS

Mr. Sims is fouteen, and also lives in Sprent.  He also drives a Hyper, though his is highly moddified.  Waylon has spent heaps of money on accessories and better gear for his Hyper.  However, Waylon tends to break things and go a little too hard sometimes.  This being said, he isn't too badder driver and he also knows how to tune a car competently.

Car:  Hyper 7 (Heaps Modded, reasonably well tuned, heaps of accessories and electronic stuff)

Lives:  Sprent

Track:  Simmsville (see link above)

Specifications:  Waylon has spent heaps on his car, and this has made it go heaps faster.  He has tuned it pretty well, and can drive quickly, so he should be a force next race meeting.

BYRON BATESON:

Byron is the maker of this website.  He is also fourteen and he lives in Ridgley (somewhere different).  He is the sole owner of the Block raceway.  He also drives a Hyper 7, though this only has a metal geared steering servo and a car saver installed.  Marcus tuned this car and it has turned out to be one of the best tuning jobs ever.  Byron is an okay driver, though I seem to go a little bit hard and roll over a lot.  However, Hypers are built very tough, and I've only broken three bloody servos in the three months I have owned it.

Car:  Hyper 7 (scarcely modified, brilliantly tuned)

Lives:  Ridgley

Track:  The Block (see link above)

Specs:  Byron is a fairly good driver, though tends to go too hard.  This being said, the car is tuned brillliantly and he is pretty carefull, going over jumps, long straights etc.  I also can't wait for Waylon to have his first meeting.

These are the only drivers that I feel like profiling for now, but I will bring some more people such as HARLEY AITKEN (hope I spelled it right), JOBE SIMS and anyone else who I can get a good look at.

Well, when we finally had our first race meeting, we only got a small field of about eight drivers.  About three were electric and the rest were petrol.  I got a pretty good look at both HARLEY AITKEN (Hope I spelled it right again) and the big JAHOBA.  WHITEY and SIMON will be on here soon, but for now lets look at HARLEY AITKEN (Have a guess what I hope) (That I spelled it right)!!!!

HARLEY AITKEN (See above)

Harley is okay as a person, but I don't like him.  Harley is gay with Waylon's leg.

I know Harley from Karting (were I know most people from).  Harley drives some Losi Buggy thing and he can actually drive pretty well, unlike everyone else I know.  Harley's been driving RC cars for bloody ages and he knows a fair bit.  He can drive this little Losi really quick.  It's a 2 wheel drive buggy, and he can keep it almost as straight as a proper buggy. (haha).  Seriously, Harley is very quick and he also knows heaps about tuning Nitro cars (Hhe helped me run my 1/10 scale drag car in and it runs pretty well).  Harley is always going to be a force whenever and where ever we race.  Watch out.

Car:  Some type of Losi 2-wheel-drive, someone please email me, it sounds stupid.  By the way, it is electric and has a brushless.

Lives:  Somewhere in Latrobe I think

Track:  I don't think he has one, he might, but it would be gay.

Specs:  Harley is brilliant at everything to do with RC cars (except driving (just kiddin mate)hahahaha).  He can drive brilliantly, tunes well and knows every nut and bolt of everyones car, so he is really helpful to have around.  Look out, he won the last one in electric, can he be beaten. (Yes)!!!

JAHOBA SIMS

What can I say.  Jobe is about 2 foot tall and weighs as much as a feather.  He is also the most irritating person in the world and never shuts up.  That being said, as long as he pisses Waylon off, I like him.

Jobe used to drive a Losi XX something or something like that.  Then he got another Losi, but Waylon painted it.  Why would you let Waylon paint it, god almighty?  He didn't mask up the windows, so Jobe has a completly Pink Losi.  However, Jobe tries really hard to impress everybody and most of the time it works.  Next race meeting, I think Jobe is going to race Waylon's good Hyper, while Waylon gets the other one out of the cupboard and races with a stock one.  It's all about track time.

Jobe aint too bad a driver either.  When he stays upright, Jobe can take it to the besto of them.  The Losi has heaps of power, and can beat anyone.  The problem here is that Jobe can't stay upright.  The body aint gunna last long, believe me.

Car:  Him and Waylon have the same one.  I think it's a Losi (correct me cause i'm gunna be very wrong) XX-T B4 or something.  With a brushless.  With Jahoba driving.  Run and Hide.  For your Life.

Lives:  In a small cave behind the dog kennel.  Nah, in sprent, next to Waylon

Track:  I guess you could say Simsville, though maybe thats just Waylon.

Specs:  Jobes a pain in the ass, but is very funny ocasionally.  He can drive okayish and isnt afraid of wreking his car for the sake of laughter.  Jobe could quite possibly win the Electric class, but is going to take a lot of pracitce and a lot of luck.  I'd like to thank Jobe, what are you laughing at Sam?  Do you want to come up here and do the Hokey Pokey Sam?  I'm waiting.

Stay Tuned.
