RC car heaven, simsville and the block racing

updates on the simsville racing and the block

Links

The name says it all.  This page in the website is about some useful links.  Therse links can lead you to some helpful sites about RC cars.  Details as follows:

  • This first site is obviously the most mentioned site in this whole website.  This is of course www.svrcs.i8.com.  Make this site a stop because it has great news and info on our racing and all types of other stuff.  Made by Marcus Johnson (Paddock Boy) and partly by Waylon (Simmsville)
  • The next site is the official website for OFNA.  This website is very profesional and has got to help you with anything you need to know.  You can also buy stuff off them and there is a question and answer page.  I also got some of the pictures from this site.  Great gallery.  The site's address is www.ofna.com.
  • www.nwkc.org.au is the next site on the list.  This has nothing to do with RC racing, but I also drive go-karts.  This site is linked to the club I am currently in, and is really helpfull.
  • www.google.com is the next site.  This is pretty stupid to put a website finder in my links, but you can also find anything to do with RC cars on there, so it's heaps useful
  • www.ebay.com is the next stop.  In particular, if you are looking for parts for a Hyper 7, the shob dinball is great, with well over two hundred different parts listed at the time of writing.  This is a great place to buy parts, though you should be advised that most of the prices are in American and the postage price isn't listed.
  • The next stop is www.rcuniverse.com.  This is one of the biggest rc sites anywhere and has heaps of info on every type or rc car and everything you will ever need to know about it.  Its really helpful too.  Look for Little_Johnny_apples, thats me!
  • http://www.putfile.com is the next site on the list.  This site has basically nothing to do with RCing, but is a really helpful tool when you need to upload videos or images to the internet.  All you need to do is create an account, then get uploading!!
  • Now, we move on to a great site for RC.  http://nwrcc.3.forumer.com/.  This site is basically everything is Tasmania about RC's.  There are heapse of forums.  If you want to stay in contact and know what is going on, I suggest you become a member of this site.  We are trying to get everyone in Tasmania to sign up who drives any sort of RC car, plane, boat, anything really.  This will allow us to contac each other easily and organise events better.

I'll update this section when I can find more helpful sites.  Again feel free to email me on boiling_point_02@hotmail.com to add your site or mention others.

Below is a picture of the fully-assembled Hyper 7 pro, which I don't drive.
