 What is Tae Kwon-Do?
Tae Kwon-Do is the Korean art of self-defense. Translated, "Tae" means to jump or kick, "Kwon" means to punch or strike with hand, and "Do" means way, art or method.
Taekwon-Do was created by General Choi Hong Hi, who introduced it to the world in 1955 as Korea's own martial art.
