Employer Recognition The Hamilton Volunteers would not be able to provide a service to the community without the support and generosity of members employers. Though a large portion of our call-outs are at nights, emergencies aren't dictated by normal working hours and some calls are during work hours. A number of our employers allow their staff to attend day-time calls and we wish to acknowledge their contribution by way of this website, as part of our overall Employer Recognition Programme. We also acknowledge employers who may not be in a position to allow time off at no notice but may contribute to the safety of their community through granting time off for training or public relations, or by making financial donations to the brigade, or simply by letting someone come in to work a little late to allow them some extra rest after a mid-night call!
