Jack Hutchinson studied the harp at the Yale School of Music in the
1970's. He received a Rockefeller-Fulbright to attend the Schola
Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel where he began investigating the double
and triple harps of the Baroque era. While living in Europe, Mr.
Hutchinson performed and toured with Concerto Vocale Paris, Ensemble
Philidor de Nantes, and Studio der Alte Musik Bad Hersfeld. He was the
basso continuo harpist for the Monteverdi opera cycle at the Zurich
Opera in the early eighties. He has worked with the late Derek Bell,
Nansi Richards-Jones, Edvard Witsenberg, and Alfredo Frigerio. Mr.
Hutchinson now resides in Flagstaff, Arizona where he does IT
consulting. He continues to "jam" with Coeli celtic groups on an
amateur basis. He is available to those wishing to learn the harp.
