HumP Dyddi Cyti Heritage

HumP Dyddi Cyti is the outgrowth of a dream to produce ONE RECORD! (See the HumP Dyddi Cyti History Page for more. )

The overall picture was the creation of a music related incubator to allow young artists to record and learn the business of music. There were to be programs for marketing the product, reading and reaching the audience, getting your music heard and your name known. Preparing for success and accepting the possibity of failure. Coalitions were developed with many other music industry professionals to assist under the umbrella of the O.C.E.A.N. (Organizations, Companies, Entreprenuers, Artists Network.)

Working with youth organizations, along the way to entreprenuership training, we discovered the need to learn the business of SELF! So a new branch was developed to share researching skills, pride in our background, and writing materials other than rap and spoken word.

DAE Communcations expanded from just the media arm of the Cyti to the training group for  heritage seminars and documentation.

This is the HumP Dyddi Cyti Heritage site, as opposed to the HumP Dyddi Cyti Music site. 

Here I'm going to tell the story of Hump Dyddi Cyti, discuss the importance of heritage preservation both for your organization as well as your families. DAE Communication can help you plan a reunion, compile family information, research your ancestors and build a website or book to document your history.

My grandfather told me that 'you have to know where you came from to know where you're going'.    My family tree research was begun a couple a years before I got involved with the entertainment industry.   I was a single working mom, went to the office everyday, 14-16 hours a day. I did not have a computer at home, there was no inexpensive software available so I pushed it to the back burner, did not see the value of looking back.

Looking back now, I see the value.

Look at how many things have changed in your lifetime. Look at Civil Rights, Telephones, Television, Transportation, The Internet, Pagers, come & gone, Travel, Clothing, The Price Of Gas and Food. Our children take these tools for granted. They take their freedoms for granted. I have learned more about history in the last ten years than I was ever taught in school by reading between the lines.

10 years ago, I never gave thought to owning my own business, never thought about buying a computer, or flying on a regular basis. Through my research and love of history which I alsways had, just not my history, I have worked with some great organizations, met some terrific people. Always the music lover and collector, I was lucky enough to meet someone who inspired me to take a chance and go behind the scenes and become independent. Through my daughter and my grandchildren, I have been lucky enough to translate what my grandfather was speaking of and connect the past to the future.

My family database has nearly 2,000 names, covering over 200 years and it's not over,

Dee

Mac Loving, Jr. & Dee Evans have over 25 years of experience in their respective fields of music and communications.

Of course, they both started in diapers!
Mac slept with his guitar instead of a teddy bear or faithful blanky.

Dee really didn't sleep-she was too busy reading under the covers by flashlight and reflections from the hallway.

Seriously.
They were not normal. They were overachievers, control freaks, and perfectionists and they still are.

That's why you can count on Mac and Dee to offer you the very best services. They don't know any other way.

From her guilded cage, deep in the western desert, Dee is building a new component on DAE Communications. She has been appointed to the Nevada Juneteenth Committee and the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation by Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., M.D.  She is also in the process of organizing the 15th Hicks Family Reunion.

Mac's leg is being twisted to release more music. (Can't twist his guitar playing arms)
