Mission Statement
The Humber Community YMCA is dedicated to the growth of persons in spirit, mind and body, and in a sense of responsibility to each other and the global community.
Here at the Humber Community YMCA there is something for everyone. We have everything from Health, Fitness and Recreattion to Youth Programming, Pre-school Play Groups, School Aged Chilcare and Youth Employment Initiatives. With our babysitting services available, parents can participate in the wide selection of programs and courses we offer.
When we say everyone is welcome at the Y, we mean it. Our Cross Training Centre is wheelchair accessible and our rubber flooring provides great mobility. We serve approximately 50,000 people in the Bay of Islands area including The City of Corner Brook, the North and South Shores of the Bay, the towns of Massey Drive, Steady Brook, Pasadena and Deer Lake. We currently have approximately 300 members and hundreds of other participants, and we keep on growing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
