The HSTA is convenient to all residents of the Hillandale and
Adelphi communities. The Association sits on five acres of rolling hills
and is nestled beneath a canopy of tall, mature trees. It features a 25
meter L-shaped pool and separate fenced-in baby pool. The HSTA has been
a summer haven to its members for exactly 50 years. In addition to the
excellent pool facilities, the Association, open every day, weather
permitting from memorial Day through Labor Day, offers:
- Hot showers
- Snack bar
- Lanes for Lap swimmers
- Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) Hellcats Team (for ages 5 - 18)
- Swim Lessons
- One-meter low dive and three-meter high dive (one of four remaining in County)
- Two Lighted tennis courts
- Adult, teen & kids socials
- Ping pong table
- Basketball court & Volleyball areas
- Tree-shaded picnic area w/ BBQ grill
- Trained, friendly, CPR-certified lifeguard staff
- Tennis camp for kids
The HSTA is independently member owned and run. Nine members currently serve as volunteers board members. A general membership meeting is held every fall.
