The College of Humanities and Social Sciences prides itself on creating intellectual challenges. Our faculty strive to stay at the cutting edge of their fields and communicate their knowledge to students in a personal, effective manner necessary for students in a complex, multicultural, and rapidly changing world.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is dedicated to the growth and support of undergraduate and graduate education, research, public service and professional development. We believe a degree in one of our academic programs will provide students with the professional integrity and knowledge to communicate effectively across disciplines and cultures.

    HSS WEEK : A BIG SUCCESS!!!

 

April 7th-13th

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences Inter Club Council presents their inaugural HSS week April 7th- 13th, 2008. This week is designed to celebrate the academic excellence associated with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and to also encourage the CSUF community to unite together; embracing diversity, innovation, and growth. HSS week will highlight student achievements through numerous club-sponsored events. In addition, the HSSICC symposium( April10th Pavillions C 11am) will display research papers presented nationally at academic conferences.

Fulbright Scholar Dr. Stan Breckenridge of Afro-Ethnic Studies and Nelly Maximous (April 7th 12pm TSU Titan Theatre).
