Zac Efron (Troy)was born October 18th San Luis Opisbo, California, Zac (troy) stars as East High Wildcats basketball team captain. But meets Vanessa (Gabriella). When they meet they both have a passion for singing together. Also both co-stars are currently dating wright now. In High School Musical Troy's voice was not him it was Drew Seely (who also toured as Troy in High School Musical the concert while Zac was making Hairspray) You can now buy Hairpray on DVD!

Vanessa (Gabriella) was born December 14th in Salinas, California. She plays a girl that Troy meets on vacation and then they meet in school in the movie she is the shy, geeky new girl. She has her own album out called "Vanessa Hudgens: V". She toured with the Cheetah Girls for an opening act thru 20 cities! She also was on High School Musical The Concert singing her songs and HSM songs. She also has a recurring role in The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody as well as her 3 co-stars Zac Efron, Monique Coleman and Ashley Tisdale (Ashley Tisdale -Maddie Fitzpatrick). She is currently dating Zac Efron.

 Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay) was born on July 2 in Monmouth county, New Jersey she has been on many commercials when she was little and now. She sang to the president when she was 12. she has a role in The suit Life Of Zack and Cody she plays Maddie Fitzpatrick. In HSM Ashley plays the High school drama club president with her brother Ryan (co-star Lucas Grabeel). She has her own CD out called Headstrong ,has had a CD signing in New York and has toured on HSM The Concert. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her puppy named Blondie. She has been on Kym Possible and she played Cammile Lion. She will also make many voice appearances in animated shows.

 Next, Lucas Grabeel (Ryan) was born on November 23 in Springfield, Missouri he plays Sharpays brother the both our presidents of the drama club. Lucas first stared in Returned To Halloween Town and then made his role in HSM and going on to HSM2 while making HSM2 Lucas had a very hurt leg but that didn't stop him from making a splash in HSM! He toured on HSM The Concert he sang and danced to the songs but he was also the announcer!

Then there is Monique Coleman. Monique (Taylor) plays the president of the Decathlon team. And also plays Corbin Bleu ( Chad) girlfriend (not in real life) she has been dancing since she could walk. She also as well as many other co-stars went on tour for HSM The Concert!

 Last but not least, there is Corbin Bleu (Chad). Corbin Blue stars as Wildcats team co-captain in HSM. Corbin has made a guest appearance in the massively popular hit show "Hannah Montana" and was the star in Disney Channel Original movie "Jump In!"also is in HSM and HSM2. Corbin was born on February 21st in Brooklyn, New York. He has been on commercials since the age of 2!!!! He has a huge passion for singing and dancing. He has performed on HSM The concert and sang his song also. Yep, that's wright he also has an album too! He performed on the DC Games concert also.
