BIO
Her Sunday Best started out in 2001 as an acoustic duo which featured Andrew Kettering (The Popular Belief) on guitar/vocals and Nick Sandoval on vocals. They recorded a horrible EP entitled, "There's No Such Thing as Silence". They then spent some time recording some material that was never released. Later, Pat Grandt entered the mix on keyboards and Nick took up the drums. Soon after, Pat left the band and moved on to other things. HSB was set to play their first show in over a year, and decided to add a bass player and go "electric". Brian Losch joined in for a little while on bass. They wrote new material, but Brian soon left to attend school in Florida. When the band was on the verge of breaking up, they asked two friends to play with them for a final show. The mix was good, and they decided to keep going as a new band. In came Daniel Culp (Theadore) on Guitar/Keys and Daniel Mackey (Starving For Clarity) on Bass. After about a year, Daniel M. Left the band to do other things, and Thomas Kelly took over bass. After going through many member changes, The band decided it was finally time to sit back and record. They recorded the Volume One EP which was a disaster. During preproduction, Tom left the band to pursue another project, and most members were also on to different things. They pulled it together and demoed about eight songs. In the middle of recording Bass, most of the songs were lost. Because time was an issue, they ended up finishing three songs. Each one having a different bass player. The mixing was rushed, and the cd was pushed out on March 12, 2004. For the handful of shows surrounding the release, Chris Schimmel (The Popular Belief) filled in on bass. Her Sunday Best members are now in various other projects as well as pursuing school...
