The increasingly popular Harry Potter series is the soul cause of HPWS. Authored by Joanne Kathleen Rowling (JKR), the to-be seven-part book series consists of six popular books. All the books tell of the protagonist, Harry Potter, and his first six years at Hogwarts School of Withcraft and Wizardry. The books and years are listed below.

Year One: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (or Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Europe)
Year Two: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Year Three: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Year Four: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Year Five: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Year Six: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (to-be release July 16th)
Year Seven: Harry Potter and the.... (title unknown)

The insanely popular series has earned a global name not at all restricted to the bookshelves!
