2009 Eagles News & Events! 

Thursday, June 4, 2009:  Both the Orchestra and Concert Band will perform at High Point's Graduation Commencement.  Students will arrive at High Point at 7:00 AM and will return approx. at 11:30 AM. 

Tuesday, May 26 - Friday, May 29, 2009:  The Sapphire Dancers will be holding try-outs for next year's Marching Season.  Try-outs will be held from 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM.

Thursday, May 14, 2009:  The Instrumental Music Department will host it's Annual Senior Banquet.

Wednesday, May 6, 2009:  The Instrumental Music Department will hold a Spring Concert at High Point HS @ 7:30 PM!  Groups will include our String Orchestra, Concert Band, Steel Band, and beginning Basic Band.  This concert is free to the public, donations accepted.

Congratulations to seniors Erwin Aguilar-Morales (left), who won the 2009 Best Musician Award, and Johnnie Ibombo-Ambobi (right), who won the 2009 Most Improved Student Award, at High Point's Senior Awards Night on May 20th.  Mark Frazier also won the 2009 Director's Award.
