All the rules and regulations of HOPE are posted here. Watch out, for both realms are located here. The password and codeword are located in these rules so, pay attention as you read. We do wish for you to follow out guidelines. It makes it easier for the admins and moderators to monitor the site. It also lets things flow at a better rate.
O n e. No Godmoding or Powerplaying
Exactly. Absolutely none of this. Godmoding is when your character is undefeatable, aka, Godlike. It is unfair to other roleplayers and very annoying to roleplay with. Powerplaying is when you make another person's character do something. It is very uncomfotable to have your character roleplayed by anotehr without permission. Please, the punishments for this are harsh.
T w o . Respect
Respect everyone. Staff and other roleplayers, and guests. Even banned members should be treated kindly. A site with polite and gracious members usually has a better name around the roleplaying circle. Welcome people, talk to them, invite others to join your roleplay. I do not want to see all reserved roleplays. Open roleplays are good for others as well unless a plot is involved.

F o u r . Amount
We are an advanced-intermidiate roleplay site and we do have a word count. Please, don't post below 150 words. It makes it easier for others to post after you. Please, even if you only have 150, remember to not just ramble randomly. Give your fellows roleplayers something to reply to. Yes, a post with 1000 words or over is nice, but make sure it's not all scenery or thoughts that no one can reply to.

If you join HOPE, please be active. At least be on three times a week, and post at least three times every week. This is flexible if you drop a line on the absense boards. And also, I am leniant with this one seeing as I often have writer's block mysel. But do not make a habit of it, okay?
S i x . Roleplay
When you rolepaly, we want you to roleplay in third person only. I know, I know, some people like to roleplay in first, but not many and sometimes it's a little annoying switching between them in your mind. So only third, thankyou.
S e v e n . View
When you roleplay and if you roleplay in color, remember to make it so it can be seen. I don't mean that you have to highlight it to see it, I mean that you can look at it and don't have to squint. Tables are prefered, but if your not going to use a table, please make your posts look nice and neat.
E i g h t . Talk
Seeing as this is an advanced roleplay, you may curse. But don't over do it. I'm not talking about just in the roleplay, I'm talking about the cBox and beyond. It is really gross if you say the 'f' word every three words or the 's' word six times in a paragraph. Please, save it. Once in a while is okay, but it can get very tiring and there are younger roleplayers around. Also, no talking about sex, race, religion, etc that can be considered hurtful to another person. Don't talk in chatspeak! Gawd, it's annoying. You will be severly punished for this.
N i n e . Name
When you join, please make you screen name the name of your character! It's a simple thing to make the game work. And no things like: [ ] / \ | : ; > < ) ( + = etc. It's very annoying to look at.

No advertising anywhere but on the adverts/affiliate board.
O n e . The Wolves
Here at HOPE we have three different realms for the wolves.
T w o . Characters
When you post your bio int eh Wolf Descriptions board, wait for two of the three admins to approve you before roleplaying. You wolf can have almost any personality, description, or history they want, just make sure it goes with that realm. Your wolf can come from lands outside the lands of Hope, but please, keep it realistic.You can have as many wolves as you wish. Your wolf can be any religion. The Code Word is Howling Soul.
T h r e e . Terras
Choose a pack and post an entrance and wait for the Alphas of that pack to accept you. Easy as pie.
F o u r . Fights and Challenges.
You must have been active on this site for a full week and posted at least ten times to challenge an alpha for his position or to challenge for a particular territory. The posts includ IC posts, bios, chat, questions, logs, etc. Any position in a pack is challengable, but most challenge for Beta or Alpha positions. One of the admins will judge these fights for fairness, quality, quintity, grammar, activity, and other such things. Usually the best roleplayer wins, but sometimes someone who has been here longer or is more active can win if the posts are close enough. Once a challenge is won, no one can challenge again for another Season. Please, when you make a thread, make it in plain site and PM Eve, Sifura, and Darkwing as well as the person your challenging. If there is no reply in 5 days without notification of any sort, the challenged forfiet and the challenger wins by default.
F i v e . Breeding and Whelping
Okay, like most sites, we have young members so listen to me when I say no graphic breeding, force breeding, rape or sexual stuff! It's gross and very bad for young roleplayers.
Alright, when you want pups, you start a roleplay during the breeding season and when your wolves are about to 'get it on' make a post in the Florish board and fill out the form correctly. Remember, wolves of different packs and realms do not usually mate! Since the Season changes every three real life weeks that is how long gestation will last. Please, only give Birth during Birthing Season! A PM will be sent to you to tell you when to give brith so no miscarriages will occur! When your wolf is ready togive birth to a litter of 1 - 6 pups, you will start a roleplay. Nothing Graphic! Just say that the pups are born and then post them on the adoption board so they can start roleplaying.
