At the beginning, we were all alone. We lived by instinct and that was all. Our breathren were no smarter than we were. We killed to eat, we hunting to live, our lives were routine. We were simple beings, easily pleased and satisfied. We knew nothing of the powers we could weild or the ways we could be. And so, we survived. For generations we lived thus, but, as years passed, some of us got seperated.  Oh, we have not introduced ourselves. We are the wolves of the lands of Hope. No, our lands are not small. Our lands are, as said, two places. One for elements one for earths. But, that is getting ahead of myself. Now, we were seperated from those others of our kind. No small number were we. Thousands of us treaked across a bridge one winter night to escaped the grips of the ice age, but on our attempt to return, nothing remained. So, we were stuck. No, were were not too ignorant not to see that some of us were different. Powers, elements as we call them now, that made them beleive they were more powerful. Elementals breed to elementals, to earth wolves who looked like they could carry the genes. Soon, the elements had found ranks, had formed packs, had enslaved they who had no powers. And so, the worlds of Hope began to swivel through the realms of destiny.

Lupercus and Soma, the gods of these new, smarter, stronger wolves, were fine with this. The elementals treated the earth with care, made sure they had food. Though looked down upon, the powerless wolves were not considered property they were still considered wolves. But, as all things happen, they were forced to do everything. Elementals were the nobles, earths were beaten killed. They were sold, carried marksof their enslavement. Even the elemental wolves with less power were taken over. The Gods grew angry. They sent plague, telling seers and Shamans about their upset. This was not what they had meant when they had sent us to this new land. The inslavements stopped. But then, they began again. The most powerful wolves took control. It got worse and as the century turned, the Earth Wolves were nearly wiped out.  Lupercus was now enraged with the Elementals, causing a storm that lasted for 14 suns, flooding their lands and killing their food, and yet those without power survived. Only these Elementals pure of heart survived to see the promise Lupercus made to them all. Two different realms were created, the first was the Earth realms where those without powers of any kind may reside and next came the Elemental realms, an almost exact copy of the Earth created for those with powers.

Now, here we do branch off. We follow the world of the Elementals first.The lived in peace for a decade. It wasn't even a real peace for those of us who held powers. Though the true of heart remained, even the kindest and purest can be corrupted. The Dark Pack started the Elemental War. True to their name, the first Alpha, Balthazar, named his pack Tenebra and with his larger pack, rose up and took control of the Fire Pack. Their first Alpha, Kaki, was freinds with Balthazar so it wasn't much of a fight. Together, the giant pack of two leaders attacked the other packs. River, the first Taikai alphess, and Pearl, the first Terra alphess, joined forces with Sol, the first Light alpha. They had smaller numbers even then. During the fights, Lupercus stayed quiet. He was fed up with these wolves. So, they turned themselves basically extinct. They are making a combacked, many have returned over the last century, adn the packs are once again florishing. No problems have occured, but for the streigned relationship between Tsura and Tenebra. Until now...

Now, we head back to the Earth Realms. We Earthlings, as we are called, were given our own pack lands. Our alphas were choosen swiftly with the help of the Gods. Kefrio for Blue Flame, the lands to the North, Jesabella for Golden Mist, the lands to the East, Gregor for Red Rose, the lands in the middle, Xaqer for Shadow Lion, the lands to the West, and lastly, Swiftfoot for Crystal Moon, the lands to the South. They lives peacefully, choosing their packs as they wished. But Shadow Lion harboured angers. Xaqer accused Kefrio of stealing land from his pack. The dispute went on for centuries, from generation from generation. Nothing went passed words and snarls. While the other packs were peaceful if not on good terms, the two largest packlands were at odds. One particular generation forgot their difference in light of a new threat, one that was enver recorded and is not remebered. But, two generations ago Unvarq, the grandfather of the current Alphess of Shadow Lion, accused Jenrix, the grandfather of the current Alphess of Blue Flame, of stealing even more land. Now Shadow Lion is ready to go beyond accuses and discussion and arguments. The plan an attack on the unsuspecting Blue Flame Pack. This war is for these two packs alone, but allies are always around...

 But, a whole new and different danger is nearing. In the Realms of Lupercus, Lupercus's mate has somehow gotten ill, and he does not watch over his realms as he used but stays at her side day and night. Meanwhile, Fyreback and Kio have found the keeper of Destruction Hollow. They make a deal with him to let them and some few others go, that they were undutifully judged, and so they're sent back to Earth...but not alive, as spirits, spirits with power...great and terrible power.
Each of the spirits they brought back with them have someone or another they wish to kill in the packs...who knows what will happen? After all, the only ones who could defeat spirits returned from Hell are the Light and Dark elementals and Lupercus and Soma...
The pack's of Light and Dark, Tsura and Tenebra, have always hated each other. They have waged war against each other for centuries. The Darks to survive and the Light's to wipe the shadows from the earth. They are vicious enemies. But the Dark pack is growing and the Light pack has few. Many of the younger wolves have gone off to rid the world of all darkness, dieing in the process. Now, with the threat of Fyreback and Kio rising on the horizon they will have to join forces to enter the Earth Realm and save all their homes. But, with this pack hatred made in their DNA, how can these two packs co-exists?
