Welcome to the main House of the Lost Battalion home page! We are a group of people who get together whenever we can and beat the snot out each other with padded weapons, in a game we call BattleQuest. BattleQuest, is very similar to other LARPs like Amtgard, but slightly modified to fit our needs. We dwell in the small county of Atascosa, Texas. Most of our members have played this sport for more than half their lives. We've got a wide range of characters who "bless" us with their presence each tournament. Battlequest, Amtgard, whatever we call it now, is in all actuality, a game.

However, it's a game we love; not a source of of drama and strife. We play the game because we love it. I've been into this game for 10 or 11 years now and I've never stopped loving it. For years after the original "legendary" Jourdanton chapter members left, I sought to start it up again. I thought I'd never see another foam weapon, until the fateful day I met Don Juan. When we started there were less than 10 members. We've grown a lot. I heard rumors of challenges for Don Juan's position and I don't like that. If it wasn't for him you all would be bored at home every weekend and not know of the wonderful game we play. So I don't want to hear about this "challenge for command" crap again.

Think about it. Because of Battlequest, you've probably met new friends and most likely are having a lot of fun. So don't spoil the buzz, have some fun, let's not have fights and internal struggle, were all adults or close to it, so let's act like it and be civil towards one another.

We have a common enemy, The Disciples of the Forsaken Code. We're at freakin' war. We don't need to fall in on ourselves and crumble.
